The BSU Student Accommodation is a purpose-built residential complex designed to house up to 2,400 students across five
blocks. Each block features a mix of single and shared units (2-4 students per unit), along with communal kitchens, study
lounges, and interactive social spaces. Flexible floor plans accommodate diverse living arrangements, including private
bathrooms in shared units.
Sustainability is at the core of the design, incorporating solar panels, energy-efficient lighting, rainwater harvesting, and
locally sourced materials to minimize costs and environmental impact. Fire safety measures, universal accessibility, and
cultural integration further ensure a safe and inclusive student living experience.
Outdoor spaces—including gardens and outdoor study pods—are thoughtfully integrated to foster relaxation, wellbeing,
and collaborative learning. This project exemplifies a modern approach to student housing, aligning with both the
university’s needs and the local context.
